After several years I finally had my Grand Canyon slides scanned (by ScanCafe, who did a pretty good job) and have uploaded the best of them to Flickr (full set here). These are from trips in 2002 and 2004. In the 2002 trip I hiked to Plateau Point and back in one day (not recommended, but doable if you are in good shape, which I suppose I was then). In 2004 I lucked into a bed at Phantom Ranch (cancellation of the mule train led to a number of openings) and hiked down the South Kaibab trail, then back up the Bright Angel Trail the next day. Both were amazing trips; I hope we can go there again some day.
