I am extremely disappointed in the lack of Solenoid posts in the last 8 months or so. If I didn’t know any better, I would have guessed that you and the missus went out and purchased a Wii! Oh wait….
I am also disappointed in the stark similarities in layout between the Solenoid blog and my current project, BoomBoom in the Blogosphere, also hosted by Wordpress:
http://boomdrums.wordpress.com/
If I had only checked your Solenoid blog first, I never would’ve picked that handsome blue on blue background and delicious whispy-patterned header. How dare you, sir?
Mike, I thank you. You have finally prompted me to post a long-overdue farewell on Solenoid, whose theme is as handsome as it is non-unique.
And lest there be any concern that pinball is taking a back seat to a cute box of shiny plastic, let me assure you, gentle readers, that pinball is mightily strong, undoubtedly stronger and more enduring than any video game console could ever hope to be. Though we are honored to give the Wii 24/7 surge-protected 120VAC and a spot in our “media storage system.”
