¡No me gusta la palabra ‘boning’!
Today, while walking into a store, Jessica said, “¡No me gusta la palabra boning!” This means, “I don’t like the word ‘boning’!”
If I understand her correctly, she doesn’t care for my usage of the word “Bone!“, which I suppose is fine. I get the urge to use it (the word) a few times a week, and only let it slip out (the word!) maybe once a week. The great thing about it is that it’s so incredibly crass (see the link above) and immature, but I think those are the same qualities that make it worthy of a no me gusta from Jessica.
From here on out I will attempt to reserve usage of the phrase “Bone!” or “Boning!” to more suitable contexts such as time with friends who have read the comic strip, or possibly the workplace.
Bone! Bone! Bone!
I am less than one month from twenty-eight years of age.

So she’s already sick of “boning,” huh? ;-)

Dare I even ask how “boning” came up in conversation while walking into a store? Furthermore, dare I even ask what type of store you were walking into?

I believe we were toying with fun and shocking ways to answer the question, “What did you do today?” For example: “Well, we boned in the styrofoam aisle at JoAnn.” (Which is the store we were going into… great deals on cheap-ish light-up Christmas houses, by the way.)
