Return of the PowerBook!
On Tuesday I returned to work to find that my PowerBook was back, good as new! (A previously mentioned, there was an accident.) Gone was the dent in the binding/hinge, and back was the precious backlight. Amazingly I didn’t really miss it too much. There were times I wanted to work on photos and couldn’t, but otherwise I got along pretty well without a computer all weekend.
My thanks to Apple for such amazingly fast turn-around. Apparently they repaired it and shipped it back the day they got it, so I could have been back in business on Saturday, had Saturday been a business day. Unfortunately the cost of the repair was not mentioned in the accompanying documents. Hmm.
