Presenting Mr. & Mrs. Robert F. Morris III

First Dance

Robert and Nichole are married, and off to St. Thomas. Here they are during their first dance together, immediately after being introduced at the reception. ’twas a swing song (what else?) — “Stuff Like That There” — and they really put on an amazing show.

And an amazing party, for that matter. The wedding itself, also, was wonderful, but the reception is what’s most fresh in my mind. Lots of friends from long ago made appearances, as well as several from Atlanta. There was even unexpected dancing by persons who shall remain anonymous.

More impressions to come, but first I need to check out of the hotel and enjoy this freakin’ hot Statesboro day.

Also, I seem to have caught the garter. Who knew?

I believe that, in some cases, it would be more accurately classified as an attempt at dancing.

It was a good time, though. A big congratulations to the bride and groom.
