Fellini’s Facelift
Today I stopped for lunch at Fellini’s (Howell Mill) on the way to buy frames at Sam Flax. I haven’t been in a year or two, despite it being one of my favorite restaurants since my days at Georgia Tech. A lot has changed in that time; the shot on the right is from the whole new back room:

I’d swear that the patio area is larger, and the parking lot has improved quite a bit too. Amazing what can happen to your neighborhood pizza joint in a year. The guy at the counter said the renovation took place last summer.
Have I mentioned that I miss living in town?

You may miss living in town, but I sure miss just living around Atlanta.
I hadn’t thought about Fellini’s in over 4 years and this post just made me miss hanging out there have a good slice of pizza and some beer. Maybe I need to have my memory wiped like in that movie, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.

Just the other day I was saying to myself, “Self, what 1128 needs is some more header banners in the rotation. Yeah. That’s the stuff.”
