Chocolate Cake for Breakfast!
Normally I would avoid a Coca-Cola Classic in the morning. I’ve made a habit of stopping by the cafe in my office building for a muffin on my way in — usually something that vaguely resembles banana bread (the blueberry ones suck) — and this morning it was between chocolate and sucky blueberry. I chose chocolate. It’s usually a little dry, but it gets the job done (holding me over until lunchtime — as late as possible).
One dry chocolate muffin gone, it was time to chase it with some liquid refreshment. Water? No, water doesn’t seem quite right. Coke? Yes. Why not? Somehow Coke is fine in the morning if you’ve already had a chocolate muffin. I think the rationalizing thought process goes something like this: “Well, I might as well. It’s just more of the same, really.”

Dad is great! He gave us chocolate cake.

.
He made us eat it!

Ah, that takes me back. Just give me a can of soda and a pack or Oreos and all is suddenly right with the world before 10am.

I think you’re sorely mistaken about which of the muffins are better. BLUEBERRY FOREVER!

Woo-hoo! “Eggs… milk… wheat! That’s nutrition!”
Chap: Those Sam’s Club blueberry muffins suck. They’re 50% air, and the blueberries are more like raisin rejects.

Long live the Cos!
“Raisin rejects” — as vile as raisins are, imagining a “raisin reject” has forced me to get up and take a cooldown lap around the 6th floor. [shudder]

This might be a better idea for breakfast when it comes to reject fruit and muffins.

…..or even this.
