Reseller vs TextDrive
This post really illustrates the difference between a service like TextDrive and all of the cheapcheapcheap resellers out there.
Earlier this week I was disappointed by some extended (4 hour) server down-time after making a blog post about how great it was to be moving to TextDrive. The above post is a very detailed description of the problem, which systems were affected, and a reasoned explanation of why it should not happen again. Professionalism means a lot, even to amateurs like me.
Update: If you’re wondering what the recent Internal Server Error messages were about… on Monday night WordPress apparently destroyed its .htaccess file after I deleted a post. Very strange.

Leave it to your ex-tenant to uncover the truth once again. This screen capture from the data center’s surveillance camera, taken at 4:15 AM CST, clearly shows the culprit of TextDrive’s unfortunate power outage. Professionalism? You decide!
