Preble to Jackson (Hole)
I’m off to Jackson Hole, Wyoming today - such nice weather to observe from X,000 feet. As such the blog is taking a vacation for an unknown period of time (up to one week). I’m half inclined to try to find a place with wireless access out there from which to post a photograph or two.
I happened to turn on the news this morning to find that Brian Nichols had been captured and was being held in my office park. We’ve known for several years now that the FBI had a building there, even walked past it to pontificate on the purposes of the bizarre antennae extending from rooftops, utility trycks, and RV’s of all sorts. Now we know of one more possible use for that facility! Apparently he was captured up in Duluth, near the old Harry’s Farmer’s Market (now Whole Foods?), where my mom used to shop. Perhaps the very loosest and barely blog-worthy list connections to a national news story if there ever was one.
