Politics Test Results Are In
For some reason I’m spending wasting a lot of time on OK Cupid tonight. I just took the Politics Test and scored:
Social Liberal: 70% Permissive Economic Moderate: 43% Permissive You are best described as a: Democrat You exhibit a very well-developed sense of Right and Wrong and believe in economic fairness.
WTF?!?! Those of you who know me know that this is a “questionable” description. I agree with their assessment of me as a Social Liberal - that much is true. But Democrat?! They have a nice little grid that shows your placement on the continuum of political beliefs, and you can flip it to show where famous people lie - I am right on Hilary’s lapel.
Something tells me there’s a bug in their script. Anybody else out there take the test? (it’s 40-something questions)

I just took the quiz… Social: 73% permissive, Economic: 63% permissive. Put’s me smack in LIbertarian territory. As far as famous people go, I’m right between Donald Trump’s chin and Adam Sandler’s forehead. I thought the most interesting part, though, was the plot of test results v/s the presidential candidate the taker intended to vote for.
All of that aside, I thought a large number of the questions on the test were very poorly written and encompassed so much that it was very difficult to select an answer that best matched my position.

“WTF?!?! Those of you who know me know that this is a “questionable” description.”
Yeah, no kidding! My god, were they ever wrong! ’specially this one:
“You exhibit a very well-developed sense of Right and Wrong and believe in economic fairness.”
I mean, good god! (kidding)

These results were a real shocker:
Puts me just under Dubya’s mouth. FWIW.

Right where I expected. On Ronald’s left shoulder (and really Bush’s collarbone! LOL). 33% socially conservative, 66% economically conservative, aka Republican. And for you SMART GUYS out there (you know who you are): the remaining 1% stands for off-the-charts WEIRD, which is no surprise to anyone, but also why it’s off the charts…
